This page lists, in no particular oder, just some of those artists that I I have had the pleasure to have association with. As there are so many over the years I will not attempt to detail what my association was with each name as this could involve writing dozens of pages, that said a word or two of description may appear.
The Foundations [Colic Young era] managed. Serendipity managed. Ya Ya managed
Opal Butterfly managed. Frankie Valli & the 4 Seasons promoted brilliant live artist.
Scott McKenzie promoted, launch of the flower power erxa, I remember giving out flowers
in piccadilly circus. David Soul promoted. Andy Williams promoted. Rick Astley and T'Pau,
I give these then unknown artists their first television airing on The Royal Charity Concert at
The Royal Albert HallI that I produced for television, both artists within weeks having number one records!!! John Holt promoted, great reggae artist. Gordon Giltrap promoted this unlikely single
chart artist to single chart success and album success. John Williams promoted this
great classical guitarist and gave unlikely single chart artist chart success. The Krankies promoted this unlikely single chart comedy duo to single chart success. Marvin Gaye promoted. Glen Campbell promoted. The Stylistics, went around as their publsher getting plays here and
there and then when having got them into the charts, suddenly the record company then started claiming credits.....mmm!!!. Ya Ya who I mention above holds in a tour I set up the record for the longest ever tour of the old USSR by any western artist, a 'record' now destined never to be beaten,
and a tour of this old 'communest' territory that I found 'very interesting!!
Involved in record promotion for various major record labels for many years it's a long list!!!!
MAY 2011 HOPEFULLY MY SITE WILL BE COMPLETED SOON.
I also look to include many of the other 'credits' that I have ranging from television production
through to product promotions, an example of this being The MALIBU World Disco Dancing Championships that saw me both finding MALIBU as sponsor, and to that of bringing it for
television broadcast of Channel 4. Broadcast in the early days of Channel 4 it still ranks as
one of theri 'highest' rated shows, not bad given that most of the country were then unable
to reveive Channel 4.It also helped MALIBU, a new product then, to launch to major success.
May 2011 and their is the intention is to get my site up fully asap, however I have been really
busy on so many various projects including recording in our studios the new version of my song
[co-writien] Groovin With Mr Bloe. Previously the song hit the No 2 spot in the UK charts, hopefully
our new version when released will get 'one position higher'!
Cheers for the moment...............Bernie Cochrane.
